I've never seen chelsea so excited about something that had to do with mscl! haha swick nasty would do it i guess!

I hate to knock brian cushing but you probably get an extra 25 inches when you can bring your legs up. i expect more of my nfl linebackers.

You definitely gain some by doing a box jump (due to raising your feet as Reid alluded to) . . . but then again, a 42" box jump isn't a simple thing in the first place (try stacking 3 of our 45# bumper plates on top of a 30" box), plus it's weighted with a 20# vest. Also, it's seated, so it's from a lower position than a normal jump, plus you lose most of the stretch-contract reflex of the typical jump counter-movement (granted, he doesn't stay seated for long).

So . . . I'm still going to go with swick-nasty :-)
